Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) are infections passed to a partner during vaginal, anal, or oral sexual contact.  Some STIs, such as herpes, HPV, and molluscum, only need skin to skin contact to transmit from person to person with or without having intercourse.   Many STIs have no symptoms and you can’t tell if a partner has one.

If you have any questions, make a Gynecologic Care “STI testing” appointment, or an appointment with one of our Health Counselors.  All providers in Gynecologic Care, including Health Counselors, offer STI testing and prevention education services in a non-judgmental environment.

Sexual Health appointments with Health Counselors are 30 minutes and can include free rapid HIV testing as well as low cost STI testing.  You will know your HIV status before you leave!

Making an appointment is easy!  Just call our main number at 215-746-3535 or make an appointment online by clicking here.
